Data sources & takedown

Where our data comes from

Wheelwise analyses factual market data — asking price, make, model, year, mileage, fuel and body type — published in public adverts on UK marketplaces (Auto Trader, cinch, Cazoo, drive.co.uk) and lease comparison feeds (Leaseloco), plus official sources (DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service; SMMT statistics). Facts are collected at deliberately polite rates by a single worker with documented request budgets and immediate stand-down on any rate-limit signal.

What we publish

Only derived statistics: fair-price estimates, deal grades, resale forecasts, cost-of-ownership figures and aggregate market indices — each attributed and linked to the original advert. We never republish photographs, advert descriptions, seller details or any creative content from source platforms.

Removal requests

If you operate a source platform or are an advertiser and want your data excluded from our corpus and scores, email data@limoja.ai with the source and scope. We remove identified sources from future collection and purge stored records within 7 days. Aggregate statistics computed before removal are regenerated without the excluded source at the next refresh.
